STYLES OFFERED

Ballet Shoes

BALLET

foundation of all dance

Our Ballet classes are structured to encourage proper technique, correct alignment, articulate feet, and strength throughout the body. Our instructors hold certifications in various Ballet programs and teach a compilation of styles including French, Vaganova, The Royal Academy of Dance (English), and the Balanchine method (American).

Pointe Shoes

POINTE

stay on your toes

Pointe technique is a part of classical Ballet in which a dancer supports all their body weight on the tips of fully extended feet within Pointe shoes.

We invite our students to participate in Pointe classes beginning around age 12 to minimize the risk of injury and ensure their ankles and feet are strong.

Tap Icon

TAP

make music with your feet

Tap is characterized by using Tap shoes to create a beat of their own when struck against the floor. Our upbeat Tap classes are music-driven and designed to challenge and inspire our students. By incorporating several styles of Tap techniques including Hoofing, Classical, Broadway, and Rhythm Tap into our lessons, our Tap dancers are well versed in every aspect of the art.

Jazz Icon

JAZZ

style meets skill

By definition, Jazz dance is a form of dance that combines both African and European dance styles; the high-energy style has a liveliness that sets it apart from more traditional forms of dance. Our Jazz classes combine classic techniques with commercial dance style to create a well-rounded and engaging Jazz dance education!

Hip Hop Icon

HIP HOP

from street to studio

Hip Hop dance is an umbrella term for a street dance form that evolved from Hip Hop music and culture. In our Hip Hop classes, dancers will learn the basic techniques of the following sub-styles of Hip Hop: Break Dancing, Popping and Locking, and House. Dancers have fun learning this upbeat, diverse, and popular style of dance!

Acrobatics Icon

ACROBATICS

more than flips and tricks

We are proud to be an Acrobatics Arts affiliated studio! Our three class levels (Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced) are divided by ability. In addition to cardio, which is done at the beginning of every class, each Acro class includes stretching, strengthening, balancing, limbering, and tumbling.

Musical Theater Icons

MUSICAL THEATER

be a triple threat

Musical Theater dancing is rooted in the diverse history of Broadway musicals. Learn what it takes to be a Broadway star by combining the techniques of dancing, acting, and singing with the background of past and present Broadway shows in this fun and exciting class!

Contemporary Icon

CONTEMPORARY

dance your heart out

Contemporary dance includes a fusion of Ballet and Modern techniques. Focusing on the contract and release of the body and the unpredictable changes in rhythm, speed, and direction, Contemporary dancers express emotion through stylized movement and breath.

Classes in this style are offered for dancers ages 8 and older. All students who are interested in taking Contemporary must also be enrolled in Ballet.
